- This Privacy Policy sets out the rules for processing any personal data obtained in connection with Users' use of the website operated under the domain 100.gdynia.pl (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Portal’).
- The Personal Data Controller [PDC] is the Mayor of Gdynia, Gdynia 81-382, Al. Marsz. Piłsudskiego 52-54, e-mail: umgdynia@gdynia.pl, tel.: +48 58 626 26 26 (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Controller’).
- The Controller has appointed a Data Protection Officer [DPO], who can be contacted by e-mail: iod@gdynia.pl or by post: Al. Marsz. Piłsudskiego 52/54, 81-382 Gdynia.
- The Controller processes information about the User in accordance with the provisions of law, including in particular the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR) – OJ.EU.L.2016.119.1, the Act of 10 May 2018 on the protection of personal data and the Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of electronic services.
- The Controller shall ensure the security of information about Portal Users, in particular by protecting it appropriately and securing it against unauthorised access.
- All information about Users is collected automatically when they visit the Portal's websites. This information may be used to analyse User behaviour in connection with the use of the Portal, to collect demographic data about Users or to personalise the content of the Portal's websites.
- The Controller possesses the IP addresses of Users and information about the start, end and scope of their use of the Portal, which is recorded in system logs. This information is used for statistical research and relates only to which IP address used the Portal website and when; it is not combined with any other personal data of individual Users.
- The Portal automatically collects data contained in cookies. Cookies mean IT data, particularly text files, that are stored in the User’s end devices and are intended for the use of websites.
- Cookies are used by the Controller only for the operation of the Portal, including the identification of the User’s device, the display of pages of the Portal in a manner adapted to the User’s individual needs, and the creation of anonymous statistics of the Portal. Cookies are not used to obtain any personal data from Users.

The gdynia.pl portal undertakes to protect the privacy of users and to comply with applicable legal provisions regarding data protection and privacy. By using the gdynia.pl website, the user accepts the rules contained in this Privacy Policy.

The user is entitled to:
- request a copy of their personal data or access to it at the ADO headquarters in Gdynia (Article 15 of the GDPR)
- request the rectification of personal data (Article 16 of the GDPR),
- request the erasure of their personal data (Article 17 of the GDPR), the so-called ‘right to be forgotten’,
- request the restriction of the processing of their personal data (Article 18 of the GDPR),
- request the transfer of their personal data in a commonly used format to another data controller of their choice (Article 20 of the GDPR),
- object to the processing of personal data (Article 21 of the GDPR),
- withdraw consent to the processing of personal data, provided that the processing is based on prior consent (Article 7.3 of the GDPR).
- Controller also informs that pursuant to Article 77 of the GDPR, the user entitled to submit a complaint to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, Personal Data Protection Office, 00-193 Warsaw, ul. Stawki 2, tel.: +48 22 531 03 00, concerning the non-compliance of the processing of personal data with the GDPR.
