Between 20 and 22 February 2026, Polsat Plus Arena Gdynia will host the first Gdynia Book Fair – an event that will launch the spring literary season in Poland. We want the Gdynia Book Fair to be an important forum for nationwide meetings of authors, publishers and readers – a space for dialogue and for building a culture of reading.
Gdynia has always been an open, modern and energetic place. It is a city of passionate people who value knowledge, creativity and conversation. That is why here, in the heart of the dynamically developing Pomerania, we are planning an event dedicated to literature in its most beautiful form – meetings that bring together authors, publishers and readers of all ages.
Gdynia Book Fair is a celebration of literature and reading, open and free to all. The presentation of a rich publishing offer will be accompanied by meetings with authors, book promotions, workshops, discussions, autograph sessions and events for young readers. The programme will also include an anniversary literary block celebrating the 100th anniversary of Gdynia, the Gdynia YANA Festival of young and new adult literature, the 'Museum and Museum Book Salon', as well as a programme promoting Gdynia's literary initiatives.
Events featuring authors and other representatives of the literary world will take place on stages and in forums at Gdynia Book Fair, as well as at publishers' stands in the form of autograph sessions and small meetings.
We want this event to be not only an encounter with literature, but also a space for dialogue and cooperation. Therefore, on Friday, 20 February, we will invite organised school and kindergarten groups, as well as representatives of the book community, to participate in panels and industry discussions.
We are convinced that Gdynia Book Fair will become one of the most important events in the literary calendar in Poland, and for the residents – an annual celebration of words, imagination and reading together.
