The August summer birthday night is one of the key attractions of Gdynia's centenary celebrations. The main theme of the day's events will be ‘community’.
We invite all residents of our city and guests of Gdynia's 100th anniversary to join us for a feast at one of the longest birthday tables in the world. Let's meet at the birthday table, get to know our neighbours, and have a good time with the residents of Gdynia and our guests.
The summer birthday night will also feature many cultural and entertainment attractions. Several dance and music stages will be set up, available to various local music bands, theatre artists, performers, dancers and DJs. As part of the open-air cinema, films about Gdynia will be screened, we will organise dance parties, and there will also be a special food court.
Other attractions will also take place as part of this unique event. Thanks to our cooperation with Gdańsk Airport, we will be able to invite the residents of our city to a unique drone show dedicated to the centenary of Gdynia, so far the largest of its kind in Poland.
