The 27th World Kashubian Congress will be held in July 2026 in Gdynia. This event will be unique due to the fact that it coincides with the 100th anniversary of the founding of Gdynia.
This is a great honour, but also a unique challenge, especially in the context of such a special year – the 100th anniversary of Gdynia being granted city rights. Such an anniversary opens up space for building events of great social, cultural and symbolic significance.
The World Kashubian Congress is a celebration that will certainly fit harmoniously into the fabric of the city, demonstrating how to combine tradition with modernity, regionalism with openness, local identity with global momentum, symbolically connecting the sea and the Kashubian land.
