Each participant of the Birthday Run with the Port of Gdynia will receive a unique, commemorative long-sleeved jogging T-shirt in their starter pack, prepared to mark the 100th anniversary of the city of the sea and dreams. The official presentation of the T-shirt took place during the Gdynia Sports Gala, where the best athletes representing Gdynia on the international stage were honoured.
The design of the T-shirt, created by Jan Rutka, refers to the most characteristic objects of our city, such as the Port of Gdynia and Kościuszki Square. The long-sleeved T-shirt is made of high-quality technical fabric, which is perfect for running – it is lightweight, breathable and comfortable even during intense exercise. It is not only a piece of sports equipment, but also a symbol of our city's anniversary.
We hope that many participants will wear the special T-shirts during the Birthday Run with the Port of Gdynia, which will take place on the weekend of 7-8 February. Running together in the anniversary colours will be a beautiful highlight of the city's 100th birthday celebrations.

Some of the highest cash prizes in Poland for a 10 km race
The amount of the financial prizes is also noteworthy – they are among the highest in Poland for 10 km running competitions.
The winners in both the women's and men's categories will receive:
- PLN 5,000 for the first place,
- PLN 3,000 for the second place,
- PLN 2,500 for the third place.
Financial prizes are also planned for fourth to sixth place. The funds will be paid out after confirmation of the anti-doping test results, which guarantees full transparency and the sporting nature of the competition.

Let us remind you that the start, finish and centre of this year's competition will be located at Kościuszki Square, and the route – which is to be a surprise even for regular participants of the Gdynia competition – will be published soon.
